About Me

Cleanse Your Palate
I am a stay-at-home Mum of an adorable one year old boy. I have always loved to cook, and that passion exploded 6 years ago when my husband was working and I was unable to. During that time, I watched the Food Network and embraced flavour like never before. Being married to someone with a lot of allergies has made me think about what we consume. It has also made me alter recipes so people with tolerances can still enjoy a meal, without feeling deprived. I prefer to cook and eat at home where I know how much salt and sugar is included in my food. I buy organic meat and love to shop at the Farmer's Market for fresh, local ingredients. It's not that I am a culinary snob, but against additives that are put into our food. If I can't pronounce it, why eat it? I am passionate about the entire culinary experience. I believe that we can all eat better without sacrificing taste. I invite you to join me in my food revolution.
